Welcome
Welcome to the case brief summaries website for the Law and Power newsletter. This project is dedicated to providing a free resource for understanding U.S. antitrust jurisprudence.
The information from these briefs will be incorporated into a treatise which will also be freely accessible. Currently, the treatise is still in development and will be released once there are approximately 50 or so Supreme Court decisions incorporated into it.
A list of the essential details for each of the cases briefed on this website and in the forthcoming treatise can be viewed in the Master Antitrust Case Database (MACD).

About Me
I am a senior legal analyst at the Open Markets Institute. My research focuses on antitrust law, political economy, and how the law structures power in our society.
My scholarship has been published in various law journals and news outlets, including Temple Law Review, Dickinson Law Review, the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal, The Washington Monthly, The American Prospect, Slate, The Hill, ProMarket, Wired, Newsweek, and other notable outlets. I have also published multiple research reports for the Open Markets Institute and the Center for Journalism and Liberty.
In 2017, I gave a TEDx Talk at the University of Connecticut to raise awareness of antitrust issues. In it, I detailed systemic industry consolidation in the United States, the economic consequences of market concentration, and what ordinary citizens can do to fight back. In 2021, my work was profiled by the UConn Magazine.
I earned a B.S. in Management from the University of Connecticut in 2012 and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2019.
